"We had renovation work carried out which included a ground floor single story extension, downstairs cloak room and shower room, full kitchen removal and renewal, full bathroom removal and renewal and block paved patio and garden path. All work carried out under building regulations as it included structural work such as blocking up doorways and installation of lintels to several areas throughout the ground floor. The laying of oak flooring throughout the whole ground floor area as well as numerous other jobs associated with the renovation. We also had bespoke fitted wardrobes installed. 

The work done by Gary and his team was of a very high standard and all of our neighbours and family were astounded as to the finished product and the fact that such a large renovation was completed in such a short space of time with no inconvenience to ourselves.

 We are absolutely delighted wight he end product. Like all building work, problems were uncovered but Gary dealt with every one. Our son has also used K&B Interiors LTD with the same results and we are both delighted."

"Early one morning smoke alarms in our home were activated when the dishwasher in the kitchen caught fire. Because we had no electricity the Fire Brigade were able to tackle the fire with water. They said we had been very lucky to escape with our lives another ten minutes and it may have been a different story.

The scene that greeted us when were able to go back in was unbelievable. Everything was Black in the kitchen and we lost everything in it, even the ceiling had to come down. The adjacent utility room was also very badly smoke damaged along with most other areas of our much loved home. It really was our worst nightmare.

Where do you start to put your broken home back together? Because looking at it, we didn't think it would ever be right again. So when someone we had only known for a few months said, and I quote, I know of a good builder called Gary Allen, he's a little gem we were delighted. She immediately rang him and within the hour Gary was knocking on our door to offer not just practical support but moral support. He explained everything that would need to be done and the order in which it would be carried out. Adding, if we would like him to do the rebuild he also had a reliable painter, electrician etc that would assist when necessary. 

So, we moved out into a nearby hotel and from that day on we didn't have one worry. Gary kept us up to speed on a daily basis. He also went with us to various kitchen stockists to make sure we would get the kitchen we wanted. He discussed the lighting, wall tiles and flooring that would need to be replaced along with paint colours etc. The assessor said we should be back in the house in six weeks, but with just a few little bits to finish Gary had us back in four. He even told us to go away for a pre-arranged weeks holiday and not to worry. We came back to a transformed kitchen that Home and Garden would be proud of and one our home deserved. 

To witness a house fire first hand is a dreadful experience that leaves your nerves and emotions in tatters. We feel lucky to have had Gary and his expertise, not only because he lovingly put our home back together but also because of the TLC and compassion he gave to us as a family."
